A Dog's Review of: Knotty Pine Brewing

Welcome to the first A Dog’s Review of Dog Friendly Patios, we’re glad you’re here.

Over Memorial Day weekend, we stopped by Knotty Pine Brewing for an early dinner and some beers. Their patio is dog friendly (obviously) and since we were planning to walk over and eat on the patio anyway, we decided to take Jackson along.

Knotty Pine offers call ahead seating, which is super cool since their patio fills up quickly and because when you have a dog in tow, sitting inside isn’t exactly an option. I tried it out and they had a patio table waiting for us when we arrived.

Jackson was pumped to see some furry friends hanging out and stainless steel water bowls provided.

We had a corner table, which was the perfect spot for dog watching and the patio is covered so Jax wasn’t in danger of overheating. Our waitress greeted Jax immediately upon arriving at our table and the food runners did not seemed bothered by his overly enthusiastic presence when passing by. His harness even matched my chair *heart eyes*

Jackson's bone ratings

1. pup provided amenities: 🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴

2. staff friendliness towards furry friends: 🦴🦴🦴🦴

3. the ‘pup’mosphere: 🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴

From the human perspective

They run a great happy hour, weekdays from 3-6PM, and this trip I was sipping on some fruity IPA (I’m sorry I completely forgot which one). To go along with that, we started with the house stuffed tater tots and pretzels followed by the barbecue chicken pizza (yes there were leftovers). The tots were served with this paprika ranch that I can’t stop thinking about.

Service was a touch slow, we were there for about 2 hours, but the weather was nice and the company was good so we didn’t mind.

All in all, Jax and I would recommend Knotty Pine as a great place for both humans and dogs to enjoy this summer.

Keep following along to see more of our patio adventures
