A is for Acre

Wow, first let me start by saying that I did not realize how many local restaurants start with A: Alpine, Acre, Arepazo, Ambrose & Eve and Applebees just to name a few in case you need help thinking of options.

So we opted for Acre, partly because of the food and because I drive past it every time I go to the grocery and had still somehow never been. It was cold and snowy the day we went and Jack actually suggested walking even though it would’ve taken at least 45 minutes trekking through snow.

The snow must have been a deterrent for most because we were the only ones in the entire place. Better for you because I was able to take more photos to share.

The place is total goals for home decor, just look at that wall plant and the string lights!

And they have games, so if you happen to get snowed in, like us, you can hang out for a bit and challenge your friends to a game of Yatzee. What a blast from the past, am I right?

The farm to table concept here is delicious. Jack tried the baja tacos with corn chips and salsa, Kelsey had the Tokyo breakfast bowl (she should’ve added the miso-maple glazed bacon but who am I to judge) and I had the breakfast burrito (with pork) which was ginormous and enough for two meals.

Needless to say, now I’m going to be tempted to pick it up every time I go to the grocery, which sorta defeats the purpose of going to the grocery in the first place, but oh well.

Up next, a restaurant that begins with B!
